Terms And Conditions
Please carefully read the following Terms and Conditions. By commissioning any product or service from The Hairy-Dude (hereafter known as "THD"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Repairs, Servicing and Modifications:
Musical Instruments, Pro Audio and Lighting Equipment.
- Any equipment delivered to THD for any reason must be accompanied by a valid Repair Order Number, to be issued by THD.
- All deliveries must be by appointment only. No "walk-in's" can be accepted at this time.
- All repairs must be paid for in full prior to the equipment being picked up or posted back to the owner, unless prior approval is given by THD.
- All repairs quoted for but not commissioned will be subject to a "Bench Fee" of one half of an hour's labour charge, and must be paid in full prior to the equipment being picked up or posted back to the owner, unless prior approval is given by THD.
- All delivery, pick up and postal costs are at the expense of the owner.
- All postal expenses for "Mail Order" repairs are at the expense of the owner.
- Any repaired equipment left with THD for an extended period of time, whether the repair has been paid for or not, will be disposed of in accordance with Victorian State or Australian Federal Laws.
- If payment has not been made by the agreed date, THD reserves the right to engage the services of debt collectors, or seek compensation via VCAT, or take legal action to receive payment, at the discretion of THD.
Live Sound Engineering:
- All bookings are at the discretion of THD. If you do not receive an email confirming your booking, do not assume you have a booking. THD reserves the right to refuse any booking at any time.
- Payment amount, payment method and due date to be agreed upon in writing via email prior to the event.
- Payment is due at the agreed time, for the agreed amount, regardless of the event's financial success, with no exceptions.
- Any equipment supplied by THD remains the property of THD. Any damage or loss to any equipment supplied by THD during the event (including load-in, setup, performance, pack up, and load out) is the responsibility of the client.
- Any additional charges for travel, additional equipment, or additional services to be agreed upon in writing via email prior to the event.
- The client will ensure the safety and security of THD and any employee or sub-contractor thereof.
- Any changes to the event or function once a booking has been made will need to be renegotiated with THD. Once notified of any changes, THD reserves the right to cancel the booking if these changes are deemed to be unacceptable.
- If payment has not been made by the agreed date, THD reserves the right to engage the services of debt collectors, or seek compensation via VCAT, or take legal action to receive payment, at the discretion of THD.
